Yes ...

It is a speciality from Calabria.
The great sensation of the World Exhibition in Paris hundred years ago.

The exact origin is unknown, but it is famous for the taste, not the beauty.

OK, is there any info or history of variegated femminello lemons?

According to this article - http://www.zitrusgarten.com/DT/sorten/foliis_variegatis.pdf - first time It was presented in 1881 on Milan exhibition by growers from Campania, Apulies and Calabria. And won gold medal. Subsequently It was described by professor L. Savastano in 1882. There were presented two forms:

"limone a foglia variegata a polpa gialla" - variegated lemon with yelow flesh

"limone a foglia variegata a polpa rossa" - variegated lemon with pink flesh

I know this article, but that source is not very good ...

Besides, the Fiorentina looks absolute different ...

Look at the bottom of the article, they just cited original source : "citrus limonum variegatum - limone variegato" by L. Sevastano, published 1882 - what is not good - that ancient source?

I meant Zitrusgarten ...

That ancient source ...
It was only an assistent and an expert knows, that Fiorentina is a limonmedica and therefore much bigger with rough skin and big leaves ...

The only similarity is the long nipple ...

I am not sure, what you are talking about ?!

I discused history and origin of variegated lemon at all, as asked by Laaz.

BTW: about Fiorentina:

there are 2 different plants:

1. citrus limonimedica cv. " Florentina" syn. Fiorentina, de Florence, di Firenze, di Pietrasanta
2. citrus limon cv. "Florentina" syn. "Fiorentina, Ordinario. - most likely clon of "Femminello comune"

That other Fiorentina, you mean is just a clone of Tipico Toscana.
Also this one does not look like the Variegated.
It has not even that long nipple ...
