So, today I learned something new, that except Diamante, Vozza vozza and Corsican, there is another interesting citrus medica variety - Sfusato di Amalfitano.
Hope to visit Amalfi coast this year.

I contacted Tintori today asking if they ship plants outside Italy, and got a reply...

Quote:
Dear Mr Vandenhende,

we can deliver even single plants to Belgium, prices depend from the size of the pots and the weight of the plants. Let us know what are you looking for!

Best regards from Tuscany,

Elisa Granucci

Oscar Tintori Vivai

Now this opens perspectives! Very Happy I can now build up my own Amalfi coast! Laughing I will ask if they have the striped meyer lemon hybrid also.

...my wife isn't going to like this! Laughing

Better start learning Italian right away! Laughing
Last week we had our local version of "Masterchef" on TV. The finalists went on a cooking trip to Napoli and also visited some Sorrento lemon orchard. They were instructed to make a lemon pie. This TV show sparked my interest in those lemons again! Very Happy

They are shipping outside Italy.
My last order from Tintori is from March - I got 2 plants in 20 cm pots and 2 plants in 22 cm diameter pots. 2 big boxes - total shipping 72 €.

Previous order was 4 plants 20 cm d. pots - 1 big box - shipping 45 €.

Florida is nice, but you have to like humidity. I lived in Pompano Beach for a few years & the summers are as bad as they are here with near 100% humidity & 100F+ days.
