I do have a little greenhouse already, but I need to get electricity and water to it, a deep sink and most importantly, screening material up on the roof, and it gets to be an oven in the summer, here in our hot S. California sun! I don't need it so much to keep things warm, but more just a handy place to work. So, if I can get those things done, then I can work in it, in an efficient manner. I need to be able to hook up a sprinkling system, so I can automatically water things. However, I have a wedding looming on the horizon, so all spare monies are currently being diverted elsewhere! _________________ Patty S.

Never say never, I have quite a few trees I have grown from seed as there is no other way to get the trees here. _________________ Wal-Mart a great place to buy cheap plastic crap ! http://walmartwatch.com/ ...

I heard some trees grown from variegated sees .. but I gave it up after trying with really hundreds of seeds ...
Some are green and grow for months and then suddenly die ... something NEVER happens to me from normal seeds !
Besides, if I get it then most likely a fresh grafted/buddied one which means AT LEAST 2 years till first fruits ... |

Laaz and Sanguinello, I wonder if we could send one to the CCPP to have added to the UCR Citrus Collection, after their clean up process? What do you think? I think we should really try to foster more sharing between some of the international citrus organizations and UCR. They have such an extensive collection. Now, not sure if Tracy has any further room to squeeze in a tree, and of course there is always the cost of maintaining more cultivars too, that she must take into consideration. But, maybe we can work something out? What do you think? Worth reaching out to Tracy? _________________ Patty S.

So........
This thread is actually the result of me researching the AMOA8 hybrid. Does anybody know where this variety could be found? _________________ - Marc |

There must be more!
Someone posted a picture of an AMOA8 on the Facebook page of Agrumes Bachès, which I will shamelessly reproduce here:
The tag:
I tried contacting the person who posted the image but so far no success...
Now that I see the tag a little closer, it might well be from Tintori... _________________ - Marc |

Yep, Tintori, I found AMOA8 in their varieties list at number 64I, the same number as on the tag...

I have a lot of fruits from the second summer flowering (all ones from spring flowering fell down), for the first time. They are still small and unripe, so I do not know. |
