I asked Tintori about the availability of the striped meyer hybrid...

Quote:
The new hybrid is not available at the moment, but if you want we’ll inform you if we’ll have it in the future.

Of course I'll ask them to do so! Wink

Just to make sure they don't forget about it, I emailed both Santo Recupero and the Tintori nursery about the availability of the striped Meyer lemon hybrid again... Wink

Finally received a reply from Santo Recupero...

Quote:
Dear Marc,
I'm the breeder but this hybrid was patented in 2012 by CRA of Rome and in this moment are ongoing the procedures to assign it to italian nurseries that intend multiply it and pay some royalties. So in this moment commercial trees aren't available.

Kind regards,
Santo Recupero

No reply from Tintori yet though...

I don't know if it has a number yet. When I requested about the availability I mentioned the name...

Ibrido 19 (Limone Meyer X Arancio doppio sanguigno)

...and added this picture...

...and this document...

Ibrido 19

You could use the same references...

Hopefully it tastes better.

This is too funny! Laughing Laughing Laughing
Found this post on a Russian forum (via google translate) about a picture I posted here before in this thread on page 10. It's a Photoshopped picture I made myself. Funny how people can start thinking this is real! Laughing
