@Marc - Yes... on the TV. Sorry, I didn't mean to sneer at the severity of the storm. |

We had an absolutely great weekend. Highs were in the 70's, sunny and very little wind. I got my '49 F1 truck out for a bit. Me, my son and my grandfather took a drive about 50 miles with a bunch of other flathead V8 owners to club event.
This week doesnt looks so fun though. Cold front coming in tonight. Chance of snow and lows in the 20's for the next few days.

Wondered why your flying dragon coloured up so well and so early in season.
Mine is still in full leaf albeit eith some yellow shades to leaf. Common poncirus by comparison is almost leafless but the few hangers on are still green.
FD comes into leaf earlier and remains in leaf longer.
Day time temps have been about 8*c and night-time 5*c. On night 1st-2nd november had lowest so far 0*c, some small areas of water had skim of ice until warmed in day.
My cold tolerant citrus are in fleece bags. These are supposed to protect against -7*c and wind chill. Will be interesting to see what temp was in this protection. |

Well, I'm almost afraid to say. We hit 94 today. No kidding. Debating on whether or not to flip on the air con. It is 82 in the house. Not to last, we'll have temps back in more normal ranges in a few days. But goodness it was hot today! _________________ Patty S.

I know how you feel, Patty. It was in the low 90's here too. Its going to be in the high 80's the rest of the week. But my house doesn't go beyond 78. _________________ Okay, I don't need any more trees. Look! Another tree for sale!!! |

With a little luck temperature will reach a maximum of 8C / 46F here today...
Maximums are predicted to go down during the next days, up to 5C / 41F.
Summer 's over... _________________ - Marc |
