i love low temperatures and snow. Somehow i feel better and more healthy during very cold winter. I was surprised to hear on the news that snow storm hit southern US states like Texas and louisiana. _________________ i am in love with lemon |

We are close to 0C tonight (+7-8C today), next few days should be warmer. Dallas got some snow lately with flight delays and nasty roads. |

We've been in the high 50's, with lows dipping to the high 30's, but warming back up to the mid-70's in the next few days, thankfully. I am NOT a cold weather girl. I would rather be out gardening in my shorts and sandals _________________ Patty S.

The high temperature here has been 80F or higher this month expect for one day with a high of only 76F. It felt like summer yesterday afternoon while mowing my lawn and the grass was very tall. |

If every winter is like this one, we can grow citrus trees outdoor in my hometown .
So far lowest temperature was -3 °C in one morning. Right now, nice sunny day, no snow, 10 °C.
But this is the the cruelty of zone 6, one time totaly mild winter and second time suddenly night with -20°C, or -10°C 24/7 2 weeks in the row. |

Same here. I could have left the plants outside all the time, no real freezes until now. We currently have 12°C/53.6°F and that was the minimum temperature for last light. No pleasant weather here though, we are currently experiencing another storm with wind gusts up to 100km/h and expecting a lot of rain this afternoon.
But winter isn't over yet! _________________ - Marc |

It looks like we have another cold snap coming early next week! Fortunately, it should not get very cold for long. The chill will reach here on Monday night with very high winds and blustery conditions and a high of 62F on Tuesday which could be optimistic as forecast temperatures keep dropping. The good news though is that the winds will shift to northeast direction Tuesday night allowing milder air from the Atlantic ocean to displace the bitter cold air.
The high temperature in Chicago on Monday will be below 0F !
I HATE cold! |

15* and 16* F Tuesday and Wednesday are the predicted lows in central Alabama. Last I heard we are supposed to be below freezing for 42 hours. That's not normal around here ! I heard very cold for Charleston SC too. Tom _________________ Tom in central Alabama |

Well I woke up to 6F this morning. News stations said officially it was 2F. Our high today is 15F. that would be an all time record Low for a high temp. I hate winter
my greenhouse is struggling to stay above 53F. thankfully it is though. I have been wanting to sew a bunch of quilted movers blankets together to toss over the top to help keep it warmer.

This is the warmest winter I have ever seen in my country. So far in January (coldest month in the year here) no frost, no single snow flake. Incredible - I wish it could be forever here like this in winter and we can grow citruses outdoor. |

The same here in Croatia. Dalmatian city Split had the warmest december in the history of meteo data. January is also very warm in whole country. _________________ i am in love with lemon |
