Each time I have bought a new plant I decide it was the very last one. And then suddenly I find another specimen that I find interesting Embarassed

It happened again last week, and yes, another plant is on it's way... a Mandared hybrid! Should arrive monday or tuesday...

...and yes, the manda®ed arrived today! Very Happy

It's a rather large plant, larger than I expected. It's not in a perfect state but it's not too bad either. Laughing

The plant:

The most striking feature are the enormous spines that are present on some of the branches...

A few flower buds are present...

The tag on the plant, indicating both the cultivar and the rootstock:

The plastic container it came in was broken on arrival and some of the soil was out of the container, partly exposing the roots. I repotted the plant as soon as possible and noticed some (but not too much I hope) damage to the roots.

The spines look nasty but in fact they are somewhat flexible and not really sharp. The spines on my etrog tree on the other hand, now those are really wicked! Shocked

Yes, winter doen't want to go away this year! Rolling Eyes
We got 2 inches of snow this weekend, but with the cold dry windy weather we have currently, almost all snow has evaporated.
