What an ugly plant... no I'm only joking, very nice tree! Laughing

I look forward to seeing those red striped fruits! What do they taste like?

How do I order from Tintori, is it through their website? Can you give a link please? (Last time I tried to order from them 2 years ago they told me they no longer accept orders, or I must order minimum 100 trees lol)

You simply send info@tintori.it a mail asking for the price of the plant(s) you want and the shipping costs. Once you know the price, you send payment via bank transfer. When they receive payment the package is shipped. They ship on Monday or Tuesday to make sure you get the plants during the same week.

Shipping is rather expensive if you order only one plant, it's more cost effective to order a couple.

Here you can find their catalogue:

Looks like a great tree! Cool When you get your own fruit, you'll have to update your avatar picture. Laughing

I only wish there were reasonable hope of getting this cultivar here in the US within the next decade... Crying or Very sad
But, at least some things are starting to trickle over from Italy. The Mandared began pathogen testing in Florida back in 2006/7, however it has still not been released to growers.

It's the same in the other direction... some interesting varieties that are common in the States can't be found here...
