I didn't want to open a new topic, just because a couple of photos.
Hopefully, I'll be drinking my own, homemade, green tea in 2-3 years... Until then, I'll stick with the store bought ones.

My mandared is putting out some new shoots right beneath the pruned tips. I'm eager to see whether there will be any flowerbuds on the shoots.

Igor, what is your most productive citrus tree.

@adriano - Kumquats for sure... They are so rewarding. Also, they have a very compact crown even with very little pruning.

@Marc - So pity we'll have to wait until next year for a larger crop... My tree arrived a month later, so it's just waking up now... Two of the flowerbuds are still growing. I'll post a couple of pics once they open.

The flowers of my mandared have turned into small fruitlets now. I'm not sure if they'll keep though...

Yesterday, I topworked pummelo tree, which I have grown from seed.
It's quite a large and very vigorous tree, but has never bloomed before.
Two of its branches are now bark-grafted with some "Star Ruby" budwood, I obtained from our member Milto (Lemandarangequatelo).
I have also regrafted a couple of pummelo budsticks, in order not to lose its node count.
If the grafts take, I'll try to maintain both varieties on the same tree with some judicious pruning.
