Nice trees Frank. I remember reading about your setup to keep them frost free in winter, now I see the setup in your pics.

The Thomasville Citraquats look great, how do they taste? Are they good for eating straight off the tree?

we ate the largest straight off the tree yesterday, it was surprising good

I have eaten the smaller ones and they were fine/ok,not as good or juicy

for the small ones the rine had an aftertaste, for the larger one it didnt

one of the pics has a satsuma that had 25 fruit a few years ago, and only a few this year. They are green and we are picking now before the real cold sets in.............

Thanks for the tasting info. The Thomasville Citraquat sounds quite good. Are satsumas alternate bearing? Good crop one year, poor the next? I hope your trees survive ok through the winter. When your trees get too big for your current protection methods have you considered building a solar greenhouse?

Thanks for the pictures Frank. Hope the Winter is kind to you and I. Last year she really stuck the knife in deep.
