Very nice Exclamation I am seriously starting to think about buying some plot of land on this island.
Adriano, if you know about some plot of land, approx.1000 square meters, suitable for caravan parking and planting citrus trees, let me know anytime in the future via PM.

Summers may be getting warmer, but winters seem be getting colder also. We should be having nice mild temperatures by now. But instead it's still freezing and we still have snow. This hasn't happened in the past 60 years...

It is same here in Zagreb too. Right now it is -4 C, and 20 cm of snow on the ground.

Adriano, lovely trees and stonework! Many of your photos remind me of how I deal with all the rocks we have here. Whenever I dig a hole to plant a tree I unearth many rocks. I always remind myself that the rocks are the "first harvest" and I use them for mulch around the trunk as you do, or for stone walls. I figure that stones near the trunk must discourage weeds, or crown rot, or voles. But I also like the way it looks.

I hope it catches some leaf miners and aphids. I also used a coffee ground against them. I noticed some people here use it too. The soil here is full of rocks. I hate digging holes here. The stones under the trees help the soil to keep the moisture and discourage weeds too.
