If it was a Poncirus -any idea how it came? As I told the branch came out of a Citsuma F2 more than 15cm above the grafting point (and with some normal Citsuma franches inbetween)

I think it's not a chimera, because the branch doesn't appear near the graft.

The Poncirus-like branch of my Citsuma "Prague" flowers again. Flowers show clearly: this is not Poncirus. Each of them has a stem which Poncirus flowers never have. Hope it will keep fruits this year.
Cheers Robert

The more I think, the more I believe Prague "hybrid" is in fact Prague chimera.
At this time of the year we can clearly see, on some of them, variegations of L1/L2 type. The clearest part being the inside part of the leave.
I think it is a graft chimera from a satsuma grafted on a poncirus. The satsuma froze and the chimera started from the callus.
At this time of the year PONCIRUS loose their leaves but first they become yellow or red. I think the yellow parts of the Prague leaves are poncirus parts.
So the chimera could be L1=satsuma, L2=poncirus.
This would plainly explain the Roberto's sport.

In bold I corrected a mistake.

I contacted the man, who has been studying on agricultural university in Prague, (here Mr. B. Voss obtained the budwood of unshiu x poncirus hybrid and he gave it the name citsuma Prague) - he met the professors responsible for university subtropical greenhouses, but did not get too many info. They just said something like, they think , that creation of this plant was a part of some student graduation work or something like this.

Some photos in the various posts seem to show considerable leaf variegation while others show none.
Can someone clarify whether we are all talking about the same variety and whether or not it is variegated?
Sounds like an interesting variety to grow. I will have to beg some budwood in the spring!

These photos are all Prague "hybrids".
I have two in ground one turned variegated the other not. One is a graft of the other. They are the same variety.
The variegation is only visible in November and December.

Today I went back to the garden and noticed that the yellow parts are turning red:

The leave I hold is a leaflet of poncirus. The others are Prague's.
Notice how the colors are similar!
