It really surprises me that, for the zone you live in, you are able to grow such a large number of well developed fruits! I never managed to do that! Sad
What's your secret? Wink You must have a long, hot summer!

It certainly won't hurt them, unless it was a sudden cold spell. Beautiful pics Snek! Very Happy Besides, isn't it a little too early for the first snow? We still haven't had any night temp drops below 38F (3C), and they're forecasting warmer temps starting this Thursday, which I'm looking forward to. Laughing

I just reread your thread and noticed you have a tacle. Did it already produce any fruits? If so, how was it? Any blood inside?

I also wonder what a mapo tangelo is like. There's not much info on the web about it. How does it compare to a minneola?

My Tacle not had any fruit. The friend Peter Broža had fruit, but without pigmentation. Sad
I can not compare MaPo with Mineola. I have not Mineola.
Mapo is very aromatic, spicy though. Taste very good with a greater proportion of acids. Probably as oranges. It is not drab sweet as some Mandarin.

My secret is single - thirty years of trial and error, and then maybe some results come Evil or Very Mad

And C. unshiu "Chahara" - 2012-10-29

Happy New Year !!!

Your trees like fantastic !

Are you specialized on acidless Citrus ?

I tend to like them, but the acid is the Vitamin C, so I ask myself, if I should not better eat the ones with acid ...
