Lemon on my photo is cultivar "Sladky" no "Lemox". I got it from Peter Broa (03/2008), is originally from Croatia. Probably it is the local name (synonymum) for acidless lemon "Doux de Mediteraneo" (maybe "Dorshapo").
I not specialize for asidless lemon, I have only this one variety. As a rarity ... for son in to school _________________ http://www.citrusy.estranky.cz/ |

Sanguinello, fruit in your picture is not standard Doux de Mediteranee fruit,
Doux de Mediteranee looks like normal lemon.
Btw: Doux de Mediteranee is crazy lemon, you never know, what to expect when you bite it. |

The ones I saw always looked that roundish, not like normal lemon.
Yes, some parts of the fruit are sweet and some are sour.
I like that ...
So if you have an all sweet lemon, it is not Doux de Mediterraneé ... |

No.
On Doux de Mediterranee tree you can find mostly sweet lemons, only some fruits are normal sour lemons and very few have sour segments and sweet segments mixed.
Snek said it correctly, some thought that lemon "sweet" from former Yugoslavia can be a seedling of Doux de Mediterranee. |

It actually doesn't seem to be all that bad, judging by the pics. |

Pictures are nice, but the quality of the fruit is low . This year was a very short growing season and fruits have a little sugar . _________________ http://www.citrusy.estranky.cz/ |
