My wife and I attended our first Citrus Expo and we thoroughly enjoed it. Thanks to Stan for the great tour of his Citrus grove and for all the questions I asked. I never realized until a few months ago that anyone could grow citrus as far north as South Carolina. I now realize citrus are being grown even farther north. We live in southeast Georgia about 25 miles north of the Florida State line have tried a few citrus with very little survival, and now I am excited about the new information and education I received at the Expo. Thanks again for all that make this possible and this forum is great.

Stan I found out about the Expo on this web site I was searching for information on citrus trees and found this forum. When the Expo was listed and it was not that far from S.E. Georgia Imade it a top priority. Thankfully we was able to go and we really enjoyed it.
This forum is so valuable for someone like myself trying to get started. |

No Millet...it was Swingler!
He was very enthusiastic, but a bit off on quite a few details...maybe just got confused about what he had tried. He was glowing about Swingle and although we all have different tastes, I don't think that's possible unless it was some rare Swingle zygotic seedling that just happens to have fruit that looks just like it's parent....probably just remembered eating a different fruit. |

Great enthusiasm , what were the solar panels for ? If he had tried an older Owari or Xia Shan or a Kishu it would have nice to watch his reaction ! He would like a Meyer Lemon too. Tom _________________ Tom in central Alabama |
