I have never been to a citrus expo and am going to this one. Will there be any citrus trees ( satsumas) for sale there? I am looking for Ponkan and some others. Thanks

Stan usually has satsumas. I had variegated satsumas, but sold out. I will have to graft some extras for next year.

Really wish I could make it...sounds like a fantastic expo this year. Instead I need to be in Belgium. Marc, how's the weather there this week?

The weather should be pleasant this week. Not very warm but sunny! Wink

Weather is not looking good for the expo. Low 50's with rain. I hope it will be inside?

Expo is tomorrow. Wish I could make it up tonight, but my wife has to work so I'll be heading up at 6 am. See you all there.

The keynote speaker for 2012 is excellent . I wish I could be there but a family obligation prevents my attendance . Dr.Powell has at least 2 Apollo green houses and has invested his life in citrus production and education as well as in other fruits and heirloom plants. He is a wonderful speaker and will do a great job. Tom

Dr. Powell does have extensive knowledge concerning Citrus. I heard him talk at various gatherings. He spoke at the Citrus Expo the year it was in Charleston, SC. - Millet

Well, I forgot my camera but someone should have some photos. It was a fun expo, but not as many showed up as in past expos. With the economy as bad as it is, I'm not surprised.

p.s. The contest was fixed! Who do you think won best in show? Laughing Just kidding. Laughing Laughing Laughing
