I will definitely take some photos next summer and in autumn. One of my lemon, feminelo, is from village Grohote.
Climate in Grohote, which is based some 2,3 km inland, in the field, is probably the worst place on the island to grow lemon, but trees placed among old houses, still succeed to bear fruits without any protection.
Most lemon trees are found in bay Necujam, every house there has lemon.
There is no secondary school on the island. That s why students leave to Split or Zagreb, and in most cases stay there, because there is nothing to do on the island in the winter.
Factory Jugoplastika, which used to employ 300 people has been closed 20 years ago. Since than, one can only rent apartments or grow olives.
