Hey Emily,
I remember seeing you at the Citrus Expo back last Nov. Those are
some nice trees you and Dad have there. Good to see that you, being very young, are interested in citrus. It's the youngbloods that keep the interests and cause alive. Keep up the good work! _________________ A small piece of land with fruit trees and a garden allows one to live as kings and queens in times of trouble. |

I sure hope I can be there but it's a little early for me to commit on the 2010 Expo. We'll see...... _________________ A small piece of land with fruit trees and a garden allows one to live as kings and queens in times of trouble. |

Emily, we certainly did enjoy the visit with you and your Dad there in South Georgia. I really appreciate you all taking me to the pecan nursery and allowing me to see the pecan grafters at work. The Trovita orange tree was a site to behold as well as all of that beautiful citrus you have in the GH. I sure wish I had a pineapple orange tree like you all have! The fruit was delicious too! You never know when I might be back down that way. I think you know this but I farm vegetables and many of my vegetable transplants come from right up the road in Tifton! If I drive down to get some cabbage plants, I will be sure and swing by for another " pineapple orange" ! LOL Right now, Im thinking about becoming a rice farmer.. Looks like we are gonna float away if this rain doesnt soon let up! Will see you in Wilmington if not before! _________________ Y ORANGE U Growin Citrus

a man that works for the local academy that daddy put a greenhouse up for, came by the other day and looked at our GH and citrus and thought it would be a neat project for the students to learn. so he is going to talk the man thats in charge of field trips and has the grants and stuff about this and one day they will more than likely come out to see us and dad said we will teach them how to graft, and take care of citrus and since the school has a GH it will be excellent for them to learn and have to build another greenhouse to keep all the stuff in! ahahah and daddy said that he will be more than likely working so i would probability have to give the tour all the students!!! im so excited but i think daddy will have to take a day off they day they come because i cannot remember everything daddy knows about citrus! _________________ Is it legal to be a 17 year old Citruholic?? |
