a man that works for the local academy that daddy put a greenhouse up for, came by the other day and looked at our GH and citrus and thought it would be a neat project for the students to learn. so he is going to talk the man thats in charge of field trips and has the grants and stuff about this and one day they will more than likely come out to see us and dad said we will teach them how to graft, and take care of citrus and since the school has a GH it will be excellent for them to learn and have to build another greenhouse to keep all the stuff in! ahahah and daddy said that he will be more than likely working so i would probability have to give the tour all the students!!! im so excited but i think daddy will have to take a day off they day they come because i cannot remember everything daddy knows about citrus!

I bet your excited, Emily!!! Good luck and I hope it goes well.

My parents sent my brothers and sisters and I to a private school, we never ever took field trips. Every day was class room studies. In fact the school I attended did not even have a gym class, only scholastic classes. Last summer I had the Denver Botanical Garden's tropical society come out for a field trip. They all brought various dishes of food and held a pot-luck on my back patio. Citrus Joe came over and help with the tour. - Millet (1,037-)

well i'am home schooled and i have no 4-H,FFA, and AG classes and things like that. so my dad helps me raise chickens Trilly-23-52.And we grow citrus!
my grand pa lives behind us so i see them daily and he always grows a big big big garden every year and has cows and i have a horse so i guess you can say i live on a farm Very Happy Laughing!!!

i counted 29 kinds of chickens, I have about. 150 chickens?
i sell the eggs and keep that money. and when i sell the chickens the money goes to feed.

we have about 300 orange tress from 1 year old to 25 years old, the reason i said my dad knows more about trees than me is because he planted his first trees when he was 15!!!!!!!

we have 30 diff. kinds of citrus from pineapple orange to ponderosa lemon to the red lemon/lime like laaz has!
we have a olive tree too! my brother and dad loves them but i do not... Shocked haha oh ya p.s. reversethong i want a goat their sooooo cute!!!! innamorato

Emily,

All you have to do is be yourself and I would bet my bottom dollar that you could handle the greenhouse tour with flying colors!
