I had told Kasandra the story of your late dog and new puppy.. so she had to see the pics.. now she wants a Rott!!!
Sorry for your loss.. Glad you were able to get a grandkid!!

I hope you and your young dog are doing well.
I know I am replying a bit late to this, but I lost my "best friend" of 11 years the beginning of last December. She just laid down in front of me and went to sleep and didn't wake up.
I'm a single guy and this old hound dog was my only companion at home so it was very lonely and strange without her.
I,like you, wasn't planning on finding another dog any time soon, but some friends in Florida had a Catahoula they couldn't keep so they brought him up to me a few weeks ago.
Turns out this was the best thing I could do. You can never replace a lost friend, but a new friend sure can help the healing process. Life goes on. |

post more pics of your citrus guard dog (the incarnation of the Roman god of agriculture).
Or I will be forced to post pics of my viscous guard cat.
Too late, below is her at 2 years old (was homeless for over 1 year) and 4 pounds of pure FURY.
And a more recent pic of her practicing camouflage against the new carpet.
