I'm sorry to hear about your family's loss. Our pet's truly become part of the family, are cherished and protected as they do so for us. I know you will keep him in your memory as I have mine.

First off, I am so very sorry for you and your family, Laaz. Losing your family dog is very difficult, especially at such a young age, and so unexpectedly. But, this was not a coincidence by a long shot. Amazing how God shuts a door and opens a window. Cerra is absolutely darling, and I can see has already won a special place in your heart for good reason Smile

Gosh, didn't check the date on the original post! She sure was a cutie pie as a little puppy Very Happy I bet she's 90+ lbs, now. I see it was Brutus who passed away, and again, so very sorry to hear. It is just terrible to lose our dear puppies. We had to put our 18 year old Australian Cattle Dog down just before we moved back to California in 2009. It was awful, Rusty was Dave's roping dog, and that was just almost unbearable for him. The heart mends though, and we now have two very nice Australian Shepherds to keep us company, Cooper and Rudy. Coop has eclipsed any other dog for a piece of my husband's heart. He is something else. Avid TV watcher, has many, many commercial memorized by sound, as those are his "favorite" commercials that have either dogs, cats or horses in them. Or, a few cartoon characters that he also has an affinity for (the cartoon dog on the Cox Internet commercial, clueless why, but the Coopman love that cartoon dog!) When we have to leave the house, we either put on Dog TV or pop in "Bambi" for him. Rudy could care less. Funny how dogs can be so different.

My grandson... My daughter had him @ 17. Mad Great kid though. Very Happy
