Love those Grote!! Thanks for the link on how to make them.. gonna have to try that if I can find two minutes to rub together.. lol
Yeah that does look like Rodney.. Shocked "Show a planter a little respect" have you thought about mossing them? I saw where some one took a tiny bit of moss and mixed it in blender with butter milk and then painted it on planters.. then showed weeks later and the moss grew where it was painted on.. they used regular paint brush to put the mixture on the planters.. and said to mist it to keep it moist till it took hold.. was real cool..
Just an idea for ya..

Gina, I already know about the moss thing but didn't post it here cuz this is about 'citrus'. Yes, put buttermilk on it & it will hlp to grow moss. That pic was taken 3 yrs ago & I have another big trough that is getting moss on it.
If you post it on another forum, make sure you tell them where you got it from OK? Thanks

What a beautiful yard Patty, I love your pots also, very creative and fun! I am always encouraged by you, as you live close to my part of the country and I am hoping I can be as successful in growing citrus as you are. Thanks for sharing, Joan

Thanks Joan, hey, I have a sister in St Paul!
Gina, thanks for the idea to mix a little moss w/ buttermilk & blend it. I only heard of painting Bmilk on it. No wonder it isn't taking on my trough!
