Viktor, is your Indian Sweet Lime the same as the mosambi (Hindi) or sathukudi (Tamil)?

According to the Indian citrus research center, those two are sweet oranges, Citrus sinensis, despite being called sweet limes.

Mosambi is an orange variety that is very popular in India and Pakistan. At maturity, a Mosambi orange can have a TSS:Acid ratio, (total soluble solids (sugars) to titratable acid) of 30:1. This is the highest sugar to acid ratio that I am familiar with. Higher than a Xie Shan mandarin. I don't believe a Mosambi orange would be very popular in the Western World with a TSS:acid ratio that high, as it might be too insipid for western taste. - Millet (1,221-)
