I am on my way to work this morning and there it was again my BIGGEST pet peeve. You are driving along, minding your business, leaving the required space between vehicles, just in case someone puts on their brakes suddenly and some -------- comes along side and squeezes himself right in that spot, and on the bumper of the person in front of him, who by the way puts his brakes on causing the -------- to brake, and of course everyone behind him has to slam on their brakes. I JUST HATE THAT!!!!! _________________

Oh, yes I have a pet peeve.
Why do people abbreviate words in their response not only in this forum but others as well.
It is frustrating to guess what they mean. Surely it is easy to just write IMOH or BTW or OMG or MDLH but what about to the people whom they intend to impart their thoughts?
We can not read their minds. I am one of the OXYMORONS (I don't even know this word except the word moron) that is a novice to these things.
I once was thought that MDH is as My Divorced Husband and I got corrected right away.
PS
I still don't know what IMOH means and had seen it printed here several times but afraid to ask because of getting branded as oxymoron. |

I don't know what IMOH means either. LMHO = laughing my head off, cuz they don't want to write LMAO (A=ass). I didn't know what DH (dear husband) meant till I asked. 4 years ago, when I first got a 'puter, I had to ask what LOL meant....LOL! And then, there's my fav...ROFLMAO (rolling on floor laughing my ass off). _________________ Patty

Or IMHO could be in my "honest" opinion as well...
Do I do that? If I do, I apologize, I don't realize it. I know I often slip and write prolly instead of probably, bad habit.
Why would they label you an "oxy' moron?? That term is used for contradictive terms like "Jumbo Shrimp" for example. I have never heard anyone called oxy moron cause they weren't on the up and up on their computer chat lingo...
If I were you Benny, I wouldn't be shy to ask. I asked what WLD was the other day, I really had no clue at all.... _________________ ♣Gen
