Since this section of the Citrus Forum is for anything you want to discuss. Here is my pet peeve of the Citrus Forum. IT is: .................... Drum roll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! People who join and never tell us where they are from. We would know a lot more about their climate conditions etc if they would just fill in the blank as to where they are located. Its not like the rest of us citruholics are going to stalk them or try to track them down. If you dont want to list your city, at least let us know what state you are from. Now Im Pet Peeve Re lieved!

I agree Stan. You and other pro's here are more than willing to give excellent, free advice & opinions & it would help you to know where they live...at least zone.
My pet peeve?....When someone posts a quest here & gets good advice, & then posts the same question on another forum/forums where most of them don't know what they're talking about. grrrr

My pet peeve, those that ask obvious ( I mean super beginer) questions as new comers, and never do a search on the topics first. Not a funny one, but I did lots of research before I asked the obvious....

Other pet peeve, DUMB questions!!! " um, hi, I have a prayer plant and I have had it for a few years. It's now flowering, and I was wondering if this is normal"

Ummmm, if it's flowering, it's normal right? Unless you think you have some kind of mutant miracle strain, I am thinking it's normal, you??

Then I realized it was SC that had me confused, and later realized it was s Carolina.....if you are a hockey fan Stan McKenzie, I am not at all happy with your team right now. Patty, To answer your question about what Pet Peeves eat..I would have to agree with Gen and say that they eat humans, but most of the time, the person they are eating is their owner!... A Pet Peeve can eat at you and just knaw and knaw. Its usually best to try and get rid of it if you can. Thats why I posted it, to get rid of it!
Sorry Gen, the only ice I see is in my iced tea! Im in the boonies here in South Carolina where we have to drive long distance just to get to a post office! Wish I had more time to enjoy watching hockey games etc.. but Im pretty much a work a holic and stay outside most of the time. Thanks for responding on the pet peeves post

Moved to inground citrus forum.

I keep pet rocks instead.. they are far less stressful to care for.. don't eat as much.. Don't make as big a mess..
I still have my first pet rock.. it is over 20 yrs old now and sits on a shelf.. worse mess he makes is collecting dust.. Mom put a face on him and gave him to me yrs ago.. Cute little buggar..
Most of my other "pet rocks" have ended up in my rock garden.. My family thinks I'm a bit "OFF" but I pick up rocks where ever I travel.. for as long as I can remember I get home with a pocket or bag full of rocks.. Maybe incase I loose the rocks rollin around in my head?? LOL

My dad gave me a pregnant rock when i was a kid .. told me to take really good care of her and she would have babies .. so i made her a bed and filled it wit dirt and straw .. washed her daily and hoped i fed her the right dirt so she would have those babies ..

finally about a yr later she had her babies and i was a grandma to 100 beautiful baby rocks some white some see threw and really pretty momma went very thin and i put in more dirt.. i still have momma and her babies ...i guess you would call the first rock a fire egg or thunder egg then when she had the babies an agate ?(spelling) all the babies where also Agates... Tammy

Another pet peeve I have...when people ramble on and go way OFF TOPIC on a posting. It can ruin the original post.

when a Parent doesnt teach there child respect...

I went over to the park someone had left alot of Garbage in the park so i thought jerks ill clean it up..

any way i 7 yr old i didnt know hauled off and hit me in the Gut..
I grabbed his little hand and took him to his mother told her what happened and she said ( hes having a Bad day)

I said Hunny he hits me again and he will be having a worse one and since you wont corect him you will too... Why do some parents just let thre little ones who need to learn 1 respect and 2 morals and 3 how to be social Just let them get away with what ever ?

My biggest one i guess or the parent that says after seeing it My kid wouldnt do that your lieing ..GRRRRRRRR
