Anyone know yet where or if we will meet for dinner on Fri night?
Also, how will I get to the places like the citrus orchard & Pungo nursery etc? Should I follow the bus?? Will there be maps? I don't want to miss anything. _________________ Patty

We haven't really set a place yet for the dinner, but I suggested a buffet to Stan. We'll probably go where it'll be easy to find.
Hopefully Stan's charter bus can take people to the sites. The Denton's have a passanger van that we can use as well. Otherwise people can choose to drive on their own. I can provide maps and/or give you the address of the tour sites so you can mapquest them. |

So, if youre just coming late friday (i cant get another day off in November, i get 2 days for thanksgiving) how do you sign up? We have friends in VaBeach but it might be easier to be onsite for the expo and carpool to the other locations...
Who do I pay? |

I just got a ocean front place at 600 block on Atlantic Ave (& what a deal!) - few blocks from expo (aquarium). The bus ppl are staying at 1100 block on Atlantic ave - just 5 blocks north. There are a TON of restaurants in area & all are good - including the one in my hotel.
Garnet, I don't think you really have to 'sign up' for anything - except when you get to expo Sat. They might make room on bus, or eyeckr will give maps to us. I am driving, so I'll have my car, but will take a ride if offered.
I'm bringing 3 soon-to-be-CITRUHOLIC friends with me
One of them mentioned a "lighting up of the boardwalk" on Fri night. Anyone know about this? I guess we'll have to see it after dinner.
I'm bringing 2 friends from Wi., to Pennsylvania for a 2 night stay with a friend. Then us 4 to a "freebee" 2 night stay at Trump Marina in Atlantic City, and on to Va Beach Fri. a.m.
4 wild & crazy women coming your way! Or, 5 including Garnetmoth LOL _________________ Patty

For those of you driving down on Friday you might want to check out the "Holiday Lights at the Beach". It's a drive through light display on the Va Bch oceanfront boardwalk that is a wonderful sight to see and puts you in the holiday spirit. There is a per car charge entrance fee but they give you an audio CD to keep.

Makes me wanna go! The aquarium tour and registration are free as per invitation sent to me. Thanks!
I can't afford the time to go currently, not after consuming all my vacations for the end of the year. My only other day off would be on Christmas Day. |

So is the Golden Corral within walking distance from the Expo Hotel? As many of the attendees, my self included, are arriving at the hotel via Stan's chartered bus from South Carolina, we won't have access to an auto. So, is the bus available to transport all of us to the Golden Corral, or do we need to make other arrangements? - Millet |

Sunway tours is the tour agency that is providing the bus. Ive travelled with them in the past and they are very easy to work with as far as making unscheduled stops etc. Im sure the bus will be taking us to the Golden Coral that night for the meal. I even have it arranged for them to take us down the Va Bch Boardwalk to see the light display after the meal is completed. I even personally know the driver who will be navigating us thru the streets and roads of Va Bch. His name is Roger and he is originally from Ohio I think.. Hes now a good ol boy from SC! _________________ Y ORANGE U Growin Citrus
