Simply beautiful!!! What a yard and all that work! You must just smile all the time at the satisfaction! I am meeting my challenges with having to grow in pots and I thought that I was safe with them up on my deck, but.... I am now at war with the squirrels who climbed up onto the deck which is out the patio door on the second floor and ate the blossoms off my miniature rose bushes and then ate my near ripe Limequat or just carried it away for spite!! I need help! Do you have these problems? Crying or Very sad

Hi Joan. The tree rats keep their distance. I have two Rotts that would love them to try & get my citrus. Wink

First thing the dogs do when I let them out is scan the yard for those intruders...

Deck looks real nice Laaz, as do all your plants! I wish mine was bigger now...it is CLUTTERED with plants.
Joan, squirrels are a real problem for lots of us. Laaz has a big dog that keeps them away. I had a chow chow that actually caught a few, but he's gone now. Sometimes, if I have time, I keep a loaded pellet gun by back door & shoot those suckers. Few yrs ago I bought a ScarCrow motion activated sprinkler. It will go off & scare ANYTHING away -- including me when I walk in it's path forgetting about it LOL. Any way you can borrow a cat or dog? have them out there in early morning & squirrles will learn & remember the consequence. They are smart.

Maybe I need to invest in one of those motion detecting dogs that bark or a great big owl! You folks have great yards, and palm trees too. I am green with envy! Wink
