What kind of soil that Cherimoya wants. I transferred it to a pure CHC and it did not grow as I expected. |

the gentel mans name is George i Ordered a 10 lb Box actually 2 5 lb boxes one for me and one for my cousin in portland ..he was so honest he just charged me for a 10 lb box instead of the 73.00 i paid 52.00 and that includes shipping i inquired about where to buy plants and he gave me his neighbors phone number to a atkins Nursery.. IM me i will give the number But i will not post it on the message boards as he has asked me not too .. they dont have a web site but they do have email.
this man sells Orchard stock trees ..
you can get ahold of George who sells fruit at GroveStand.net who can also sell trees ..
Right now im working on getting more info about shipping.. Tammy _________________ If it breaths and loves life Im a Friend..

Tammy, what is a "liner"? I asked once before but no one explained. Thanks.
Benny, I don't think CHC would be good for cherimoya..just my opinion. _________________ Patty

wow to describe a liner ..
OK here is my best shot patty
the long pots 4 inches round or Square and about 12-18 long and about 2 inches round or square on the bottom .. they use these to get a good rooting system .. the plants are 12-16 tallsome he said are 24 inches tall and desperatly need repotting ...
Stan , joe ,laaz,or Millet would probably be better at describing it then i would ..Tammy
PS just got offered a Job workig with a botonist and Nursery this also includes Travel .. might just take it tired of sitting behind desks or catching pnemonia while flagging in summers.. _________________ If it breaths and loves life Im a Friend..

Thanks Tammy, I think it's like my tall tree pots which are 4x4 " & 14 inches high -- good for rooting. THAT'S a LINER?
OK, what is "flagging in summer" LOL
Benny, CHC might be good for some plants but real bad for others... as I'm learning too. How's it doing on your newly repotted citrus? _________________ Patty

Flagging For road construction .. im the one holding the stop sign or out running a pissed off driver who drank too much .. since i seem to be the only women allowed on night crew i get alot of exercise running ..
Last yr i actually got so mad I yelled stop or ill shoot ..
the guy stopped LOL and Backed up and then when he got out of his car and asked if i had a gun i said no but explained there where 25 guys in the road went to hit me his daughter in labor and he was very drunk took a swing I maced him ...
Makes life fun .. Here have some Norton wine .. family winery in Mo _________________ If it breaths and loves life Im a Friend..

try something slightly acidic (pH 5.5-<7), and well draining, and deep pot for roots to grow...it appears the roots do not like any standing water, such as the type you get at the bottom of containers....
get them into well draining soil in the ground ASAP. _________________ Citrus & Cherimoya Addict |

EZ is right. Get them in tall tree pots if you can ...they have long tap roots & like to go deep. Well drained soil.
Anything can grow in pots, don't forget...you buy them in pots don't you?
Here is a site to order tall tree pots for the best price anywhere
http://www.stuewe.com/
Millet gave this site & I ordered twice from them...many pots --all diff sizes. They are great and great ppl to deal with.
Tammy, I think they are near you ? Oregon/Wa area _________________ Patty
