Hah! Marc and Sylvain, SO sorry! Yes, it's an American idiom for losing your mind, going crazy, etc. I think each our our languages has at least a few amusing idioms for that concept. So, what I should have said was, "My husband will think I've lost my mind, gone crazy, lost my marbles, have a screw loose, be one card short of a full deck, not firing on all pistons, etc." We've got a LOT of idioms for "losing one's mind", lol!!
