It does have wicked thorns. The fruit is 18 ft up in the air, I had to climb on the fence to get a decent shot. _________________ Wal-Mart a great place to buy cheap plastic crap ! http://walmartwatch.com/ ...

There are some variegation that only shows up on fruits even, but I think here it is just that the variegation just started and will develop more and more. |
This is true, I have a variegated sour orange that produces many variegated fruit but rarely has variegated leaves. _________________ Wal-Mart a great place to buy cheap plastic crap ! http://walmartwatch.com/ ...

No, it's a Yuzu. Barbara they are very dark green this time of year. This is one I grew from seed & gave to my neighbor because I had no room for it in my yard. He is a scape goat, I give him all the trees I don't have room for. _________________ Wal-Mart a great place to buy cheap plastic crap ! http://walmartwatch.com/ ...

Oh, to be your neighbor! So the green in the fruit will likely yellow as the fruit matures. It is just stunning right now.

I meant the sour orange you mentioned before ...
Now this YUZU ...
The kind of variegation on leafes and at all at fruit shows a chimera ...
So how a seedling can be a chimera ???
How said Socrates ?
I know, that I know NOTHING ... |

Yes it will probably turn all yellow when it ripens.
I don't know about chimera. It is weird, it will have a flush of variegation & then the next flush is green, then another flush of variegation.
I took a budstick today & grafted a few. Will have to wait and see what it produces. _________________ Wal-Mart a great place to buy cheap plastic crap ! http://walmartwatch.com/ ...

That is typically ..
Swiss orange does same.
Then you have no shades of green and white, but just white spots at leafes and the stripes on the fruit lay OVER the other skin under ... |
