Just to touch on the red coloring in grapefruit... If you cut a branch off, the sap is red. I have cut some down that I planted in bad spots & trunk looked like it was bleeding.

Both, although all the ones I have cut down were on their own roots.

Grapefruit will grow quite a bit larger than 2 meters. If it is grafted on a dwarfing rootstock it will be a bit smaller, but grapefruit grow as very large trees.

Try growing some from seed, that way they will produce large trees.

My pummelo seedling is like that, Laaz. Tall, lanky, and big. No flowers this year so far, bummer.

You see that palm in the back? It is now taller than my two story house. Laughing

Patty you know pummelo do not come true, right?

Why yes I do, Laaz. All pummelos and many pummelo hybrids are monembryonic. That's why I got this Tahitian pumello seedling for $5.00 from my local nursery. I informed them that this was not a Tahitian pumello, but some unknown hybrid, and since they couldn't sell it for $50.00, I'd be happy to take it off their hands for $5.00 Smile It is my "experiment" in my little citrus orchard.
