Joe, I get to Vancouver frequently, and was last at Butchart gardens in May with the American Ivy Society. We toured some of the public gardens, and many private gardens not open to the public. I've been to Butchart Gardens numerous times and it certainly is a world class garden. However. Mr. Butchart really did not do much of the planning and day to day supervising, MRS. BUTCHART is the person we need to thank for the garden. Her husband's business extracted, and Mrs. Butchart planted. Thank you very much for all the pictures both on this post and the others.
