Right now, the best fruits I'm picking are the algerian mandarins and the Washington Navels. My Marrs sweet Oranges were ready a month ago and I have already picked them all. Though my Hamlins have yellowed, they will be better after hanging on the tree another month.

Does it count if the fruit falls off and I sample it??
I got one Meiwa Kumquat that was almost all orange and it fell off so I ate it.. It fell when the it was bumped.. even though it wasn't fully ripe it was good..
Still have 4 fruit on the tree they are green green yet though..

Aside from that only other thing I'm picking is dang spider mites!!! Evil or Very Mad

I picked a Sunquat, today. It was the entire crop for this season. My rio-red grapefruit have been ripe since Jan 1. This is my second crop and I'm a bit puzzled by the lack of anything 'red'. The fruit's outside turns a bright, but pale yellow. Inside, the flush is also yellow. Regardless the color, they are great with breakfast.

It is 25 degrees outside, today. The greenhouse is a pleasant 45.

As regards my container citrus I've already picked all the Key limes and limequats that were ready. What we didn't use fresh I juiced and froze.

I've still got some Tahiti limes still to pick which I need to do soon as they're beginning to turn.

There are fourteen Eureka lemons left on the tree still to be picked.

And the little Meiwa kumquat is full of fruit still.

Out in the orchard only the Seville orange still has any fruit on. I had a terrible fruit set in the orchard this year, but the container fruit did well. The Meyer lemon in the orchard has been blossoming since the first of the year.

.....Alan.

I didn't pick anything since Nov., but they are picking me LOL. I bent over in front of my Persian lime & one fell off on my head. It had 4 fruits on - almost ripe, but they now all fell off. Have 2 meyers that are ripe & ready to pick. That's all folks.
