Lazz, it looks like the front has just past you like it has here-- how warm was it there this morning--it was 68 on my thermometer when I woke up this morning.

Yes it was much warmer here this morning. Tuesday night forcast is for 20 F with windchill to 15 F. But they predicted 22 F last week & we only went to 30 F. The beginning of Feb is also a roller coaster here...

We are only getting down to 33 according to the 10 day forecast here. However, last week 4 to 5 days before the freeze they were only predicting mid 30's and started dropping it about 3 days before the freeze.

I worry more about March cold snaps-- we have had it drop to 25 in early March after a really warm Feb.-- not often, but have even seen it nip pecan trees and they are the last to come out.

All of my citrus are flushing out right now... I have a variegated Seville sour orange in the yard that is very small. All the new growth looked dead last week. With todays rain it all stood back up, I'm amazed... Even me Satsuma's on Flying Dragon are flushing...

Sorry to keep posting but I keep changing my mind. Anyway the hockey game is on TV. If the season was over tonight, the Colorado Avalanche would not make the play-offs. And in hockey EVERY BODY except two teams makes the play-offs. - Millet

Only my lemon has started flushing--the freeze got the limbs that stand up above the main canopy, but most of the new growth is OK. I don't think the growth on those upper limbs is comming back-- it was black and shrivled yesterday.

Millet I was going to say the same thing! Patty did start something here! I love it!!

Yes this is true, only recently have we been slipping in the cleanliness department. It was in the news only days ago that some tourists are starting to complain. They want to pump more cash into it when they can but you know how it is.... Hope we get that fixed, we are well know to be a little New York City, but cleaner. I for one would like to keep that reputation.

It's changed a bit, more culturally diverse. We now have also italian parts, greek parts, asian parts, basian/jamaican parts, hispanic parts....kind of cool. It's hard to be racist.

Laaz, hate to bother you about this stuff again, but how do I make sense of this? I have never seen iframe before??

<iframe></iframe>

I tried your # trick, but I can't get it to post, you may have to go into "edit" to see the html code I'm talking about.

It's another weather sticker from a Canadian website

I only follow playoff hockey, so I am guessing, but I must be correct that Tampa lighting and Montreal canadians MUST be two of the shoe ins you are reffering to

Gen Iframe will not work with the forum. That is used like normal frames when coding a webpage where you want to use different frames to load different pages in the same browser window.

It's me that is very sorry for posting so much. I have been having problems with this site, it's been really slow for me for a week, so I miss many postings that I want to reply to. I don't know what to do, and this is the site I'm on most often! I need to join the support forum at forumsup I guess. I have two browsers open for this site to try and cope.

Could it have been Labatt? If so, the brewery is right here in my city/burrow.

Laaz, that's a shame, I likes that one. Ah well. Like the pic you posted of the fin du monde, which literally means, end of the world. Yuk! LOL

Gen I think it may be your browser settings or a software program that you have loaded. It may be something running in the background on your system. Make sure the "Windows" firewall is set to "off" then go to start & RUN & type in msconfig . Look at the "startup" tab, uncheck everything except your antivirus program, click apply & then ok & reboot you system.
