I am really thinking about shutting this forum down for good. This new software they are running on the boards is constantly locking me out of the forum. I guess if you have a fast connection the software looks at you as a spammer. I really can't deal with this nonsense anymore. I have had this forum up since 2005 & have never had issues like this.

I am going to look around for other forums & see what I can come up with, but this latest issue is unacceptable.

If I do anything it will be to get my own server & software which is expensive.

This is Daniel, Hershell's brother again. I have a server hosting several web sites. I host for companies and other people. I'm not asking for you to pay for the hosting. Here is a list of some of the sites I currently host.

Looks like software of this forum is in trouble - no avatars, no pictures ....

I am having to log in almost every visit to this forum now, even though I chose to stay logged in. . . .

I am looking at other forum options at the moment. I don't want advertisements on the forum & want control over the layout & functions. The new software they have running on this forum is just unacceptable. I have had many complaints about it & some members just gave up & don't use the forum anymore. It was fun while it lasted, but time to move on...

As it is now, I have to use a proxy or I am blocked from my own forum because of this shitty software that thinks I'm a spammer because I have a fast connection.

All this was to keep the spammers down, but we are getting more spammers than ever with the updated software...

freeforums.org may be the one, but I have to look over the options.

Ok, WTH... why in the world would they disable the PM function? I also have (had) several PMs that I was saving for reference.

Laaz, what sort of responses (excuses) have the people that run the service been giving you? I wonder how many of the other forums are getting fed up too?

I just reset the forum. A lot of people are quite pissed off about the forums.
