				| Hershell why not give a tree away, if you do not like it any more ?
As stated before, to graft is another nice possibility:
You get very soon a harvest of new wanted fruits and can even make a cocktail tree ...

 According to this article:

Xie Shan could be identical to Wakayama unshiu mandarin and Wakayama is pretty common in Europe.

Thank you for the information Radoslav, I will add Wakayama to my list. I tried to find it just now on the internet but I had no luck. Do you know where in Europe I can get Wakayama?

Radoslav thanks for the link . Am I able to buy from that site or is it just a database of plants? Other than descriptions I don't see the ability to buy plants from there.

				| My trees are planted in ground and are huge, I cant just give them away. I can't even pull it up with a tractor. As for top working I tried thar with a variegated Eurika limon and mandarins didn't do well so I don't want to risk that with the Persian lime. I really don't like lime. However I do like lime quats. No one here uses enough lime to justify that much loss of area in a greenhouse, _________________

				| Hershell, do just graft branch for branch and not all at once.

You surely will succeed then.

I recommend cleft grafting, that is easy and can be repeated any time.

By this you can have on a tree all quats that exist and make you happy
Besides you have a big crop very soon and must not wait many years till a new tree grows up. | |

				| I have one 30 by96 and one 35 by 96 greenhouse and over 100 trees outside so loosing one tree is not a problem, I am more concerned with compatibility. And cleft grafting a 3" branch to me is not a good option. I graft profecianly for a local orchard when I have time so grafting knowledge in not my problem, I don't want a cocktail tree eather because of different growth rates. I have ben comtiplating this tree for a few years. What does trouble me is that I have 2 owarie trees that I think I am going to remove but I have 20 or so outside. _________________
