What citruses are on your wish list for 2013?
Mine is a little predicable I guess...
AMOA8
OTA9
Tarocco rosso orange
Smith red valencia (unavailable)
Seville orange
'bouquet de fleurs' seville orange
Nine pound lemon
Miyagawa satsuma
some tangelo variety
some citron variety
and I could easily come up with some others... _________________ - Marc

For me, here's my list. Some I'm hoping to be able to graft with CCPP budwood this year, others will have to either appear as sports, or by seed (not the variegated cultivars, of course):
Xie Shan satsuma
Miyagawa satsuma
Any blood mandarin
Shiranui/Dekopon manadrin
Any variegated mandarin or orange
Golden grapefruit
Brown's Select satsuma _________________ Patty S.

A discussion on the forum about a specific variety is sometimes enough to start wanting it. Remember for instance the amalfitano lemons! But we have to admit those are beautiful fruit... _________________ - Marc

You're wanting some that I never even heard of Greg!
Yes, wives and citrus are mutually exclusive! My wife also tells me there's no more room left for new plants (and I must admit she's right ), but still if there's some plant that I want to buy she won't get in the way! _________________ - Marc

Why? |
Darren's fault : link
I'm still hopeful that there are P.t.s out there with at least one of their poncirin genes knocked out that I might be able to find. These would just go into the mix making up my future hedge and they will go into crosses if any seem any less ponciriny. I find Flying Dragon fruit to be pretty nasty so when Darren thought this was tolerable it lodged in as something to trial.
If nothing else I can put them in people's Christmas stockings that were bad that year. |

Try contacting Darren. I think he has no taste buds left!
There is this one they call "edible" flying dragon, I think the only reason they named it that is because it doesn't kill you if you eat it. _________________ Wal-Mart a great place to buy cheap plastic crap ! http://walmartwatch.com/ ...
