Joe,
Another option I almost forgot; contact Aaron Dillon ( specialorders@fourwindsgrowers.com ) of Four Winds Growers and inquire about ordering a Nules through their special order program:

Might be a year or so before you would get the tree, but the quality would be great. Must admit I am biased, however, as they are my 'local' grower.

Kent, thank you very much for the responses and suggestions! I emailed Treesource a couple months ago with the same exact question and they said they would not send orders less than 25. I think some members have had success in the past with getting them to ship less than 25 and if I caught them at the right time maybe they would, but they did say no to me when I tried. I have considered it though, trust me. I actually have a Word document with a list of the 25 varieties I would get from their availability list... I really am keeping them as a last resort because of negative experiances in the past with several reputible members here. I do wish Treesource was a more reputible company and would ship less than 25 tree orders but neither apparently is the case.
As for Aaron Dillion at 4 Winds it is funny you should mention that as I just emailed him about a week ago about this very topic and have yet to hear back from him. I have 4 trees currently from Four Winds and love their products and customer service but they certinally are costly (especially their shipping!). In their defense you do get a quality product though and customer service that is absolutely second to none. I have just been loathe to make a special order from them as I assume it would likely cost a fortune (just a guess though). I hope Aaron Dillion gets back to me soon but am a little leary of what the price tag will be... I also asked him about the availability of any blood or pigmented mandarins so I will definatly post my findings as soon as he responds.
I just recently emailed Logees also about the Nules and suggested they start carrying it and the owner Byron said he would look into it and loves suggestions. So if anyone else wants a Nules like I do, I would suggest emailing Logees and requesting that they carry it!
Thanks again!

Actually you do not want to E-mail Dillon at Four Winds for your information, you probably will not get an answer. E-mail Kerry (female) at Four Winds Growers. Kerry is in charge of growing and shipping, and future varieties, she will answer your inquiries quickly. I just ordered two Santa Teresa lemons form her. Tell her Millet gave you her E-mail address. Thanks for the information Millet. Now that I think of it, every time I have ever emailed Four Winds the reply has come from Kerry and I did actually use Aarons email instead this time. Good to know.
Millet you will have to let us all know how the Santa Teresas work out as someday (waaaay in the future) I would like to pick one up along with a Bearss lemon.

I purchased two Santa Teresa lemons. One I will grow in the ground, and one as a container tree. My three year old Root Maker containerized Saint Dominic Sour Orange tree (8-foot tall, grew 4 foot just this summer) will make good company for the Saint Teresa lemon . They should get along just fine. - Millet (1,251-) |

Millet I think they will do very well togather indeed
What other types of Clementines do the folks here suggest/have good history with aside from the Nules? If I was to get a second Clementine (other than a Nules) what would everyone suggest?

Back to Santa Teresa for a moment, I purchased one from W&N via CostCo two years ago for my parents' yard. It is planted in ground behind a retaining wall.
Each of the past two winters it suffered heavily from a December arctic blast. Keep in mind my parents only covered it with an old bed sheet and didn't provide any heat source. This combined with my dad's propensity to over water has led to a slow recovery each year. Going into the first winter the tree was slow to recover from transplanting and W&N's heavy pruning. The next summer it gave two marginal flushes. This year it has only flushed once, in June, so far. I am hoping for another decent vegetative flush soon, so that the new growth hardens considerably by December. I am also hoping the weak to moderate El Nino forecast means no sudden artic blast this December, as I am anxiously awaiting a chance to compare fruit from this tree with my Corpaci.
My Corpaci, purchased at the same time from the same source but kept containerized, has been a bit slow to recover too, but I had several fruit this past winter and have several more maturing now. This tree is slated for transplanting into CHC sometime this fall, if I can get my act together and just do it. A Tarocco blood orange transplanted into CHC earlier this spring has recently exploded with new growth.
