Might have to figure a way to go to that... Better than sitting around here eating ice cream and cake.. Hmm.. am seriously going to have to think about this.. Hubby has a work day he can take off.. Fly out Friday Fly back Sunday.. you could set a tent up for us in the back yard right?? lol
I'll let you know if I can swing it before the end of this month..
That will be on my B-day.. and anniversary is 2 weeks later.. That could top the last combo b-day/ aniv present hubby got me. (the mini van, isn't he romantic?? LOL).. Now to convince him to go to Cal.. last time I mentioned it he said he been there once and didn't loose anything there.. LOL He will be a hard sell..

Thanks for posting this!!

Although we are 106 miles away from the exchange, you and your hubby are most welcome to stay with us. We have completed the room additions a long time ago. It will be your birthday so we can celebrate. The calamondin wine would be great to serve!

I just found out my Great Aunt Elizabeth lives about 10 min out of Santa Cruz.. I knew she lived in CA but thought she was further south.. I'm going to call her and tell her about this.. Maybe she can make it..

I am kinda disappointed I didn't get to make it and meet you.. I hope you were able to meet with Elizabeth.. She is great!! lots of fun for an aunt! Wink not only is she my Great Aunt.. she is a Great Aunt!!

I am kinda glad I wasn't able to follow through with my wish to be there.. I'd probably be stuck some where!
It started to freezing rain here yesterday am it turned to sleet and continued to sleet till this am.. and more is in the forecast for tomorrow..
HA they shut down town for my birthday!!!! LOL Laughing
This sleet isn't as bad (heavy) as the snow we got in Dec 1. 06.. but I still would NOT want to be on the roads!!
TG I couldn't get the plane ticket to come..
Though the temps there are LOTS better than the 9*F wind chill going on here right now!!!

Hope everyone is keeping warm!!!

Gina,

Was looking for Elizabeth at the exchange and I found two, but they don't know you, so it musn't be your Aunt. Benny, EZ and I have pics to be posted later. I have to drive the wines back to Davis. Perhaps in May, when you visit your aunt, I can drive down there, no problem or you can drive up here.

Gina, Definitely there's an advantage to Jan B-days.

Benny, I forgot to thank you for the special scionwood you packed for me, and also the citruses.

We'll meet again March 4, hopefully with Millet.
