Laughing

I have a Smith Red as well but also small. Gene Lester sent me some budwood last year. I budded it to swingle, so it should get some good growth this year.

Nice lil chap ... why it grows on Shadock slowly ?
The Citrus maximas I had grew a lot ...

I just have a small balcony, so there is not much to see ...

Besides I often give my plants away, if the fruits do not taste so well as I expected ...

Last, not least I have no cam now and never can decide which to buy ... and found out I donĀ“t need one anyways ...

I was able to sample my Smith Red recently and was wowed at how blood red the flesh was. It had an amazing taste and in my opinion much better flavor than Moro. I forgot to take pictures of the Smith Red but I do have a couple pictures of the Vaniglia Sanguigno we ate last night:

Here you can compare them to Hamlin orange

I agree with most of the views on the taste of this one. Quite different, mild, not too much to write home about but I think a nice addition to one's pigmented citrus collection.
