I should have seed later in the year. I haven't forgotten about the seed you want for the Sudachi Mark. My wife threw the fruit away, thinking they were just rotten fruit.

I wouldn't chance them in-ground in 8b.

Laaz, what an interesting fruit! Where did you first come across these? I might like to try them. The tree looks like it could be very ornamental as well as providing some interesting fruit.

Thanks Laaz, but I'm up to my eyeballs in Sudachi seedlings now.

One observation: if the necessary node count for the tree to become mature was so low, why did it need 4 years to fruit?

The node count theory is something "official" or is it just a...theory? I can't find any document about that on the web.

Thanks!

My Thomasville seedlings also start to fruit on the lower branches.

Good question. My grapefruit tree started blooming on the very top last year. This year it has blooms much lower down in the tree.
