Laaz, can you elaborate on the attraction/interest in this variety? To the casual observer it appears to be a fairly elaborate cross with a very thick rind and lack of typical lemon coloration. The write-up gives no indication of flavor or other qualities.
Again, I'm just a casual observer but, "... considered the first hybrid with fruit characteristics very similar to those of real lemon", doesn't sound like something that moves the bar very much. _________________

I collect lemons... A true seedless Italian lemon sounds very interesting.
If you didn't already know, I like the strange & unusual citrus. _________________ Wal-Mart a great place to buy cheap plastic crap ! http://walmartwatch.com/ ...

Got it. You wouldn't be impressed at all by a super sweet and juicy Washington Navel orange.
That said, I don't think LEMOX is a true Italian lemon:
"Hybrid triploid hybrid obtained by crossing 1952-36B-69 (x Femminello Lemon Pear Commander) (2x) x lemon double Lentini (4x), made and patented by researchers CRA-ISAGRU of Acireale"
It's a hybrid under patent that I'm not sure if it would be something one could graft readily. But it does look like a nice piece of fruit except for the thick rind. _________________

Well in that case, I just open my front door & pick one off the tree. _________________ Wal-Mart a great place to buy cheap plastic crap ! http://walmartwatch.com/ ...

Lemox is 1/4 Medica.
For myseld the seeds don´t worry me.
I see never any note about the tase, that makes me think it has no good taste and is just "ornamental" ... |

Laaz, Willits & Newcomb has exclusive rights to the Lemora, which is a true seedless lemon, and is being grown right now by a select group of commercial growers in California. Not sure when this will come off patent, but worth watching. They are the same growers that have the exclusive propagation patent for the Red Nules mandarin as well:

OK, Lemora looks like another Italian variety. See if you can find one.
Now if only we could get some of these Lemox in the USA _________________ Wal-Mart a great place to buy cheap plastic crap ! http://walmartwatch.com/ ...
