Attached to the house is always best !

You can use it like another room and the Hothouse profits from the warmth of the house and other way too if sun shines well ...

Well, I'd have to build a heck of a house to warrant a greenhouse of this magnitude and grandeur. It is beautiful. I would just die to have something like this. I would have to make sure not to cram it full of plants so I could have a lovely sitting area to be able to sit in there, and enjoy it!

Darkman, if I could afford that greenhouse, I could afford someone to come do the windows. Weekly. Cool

This is a bit old but possibly helpful, I have three Shiranui currently, 2 in pot and one in the ground, I saw a few things in the past saying these were relatively cold hardy and we have had low 30s frost(cold micro-climate outside Orlando) and while some of my other trees like my mango have shown a bit of distress, my Shiranuis and other citrus havent had a problem and I only cover my Key Lime.

For me, the most beautiful are traditional victorian greenhouses (glasshouses)
