Rusk produces a considerably smaller tree than do other citranges, although still quite a lot larger than a 'Flying Dragon'-rooted tree. And so it was considered as a semidwarfing stock back in the late '70s and early '80s. But the low seed count per fruit prevented its ever becoming popular with nurseries. Our old tree seldom made more than 3 seeds per fruit; usually 1. But that tree is long gone.
