Well, right about the last post here, I potted up my Avo from water to 14" tall pot. Top was almost 18 inches high just before I took plants out last week, I put more soil over seed - only a little was exposed. It was in a milk crate with other 2 Avo's & 6 other plants. 9 of those pots fit PERFECT in there.
Today, the top of plant was laying on ground, chewed off at base, & seed was in pieces still in pot. Apparently @^%#* SQUIRELL tried to dig it out! Thank God none of the others were dug into. I will have to start a early war on squirells!!!
My grafted Little Cado - doing so well since Sept. with 2 budds growing, died off I think end of March...after all that time!! I think I will ask for more Avo bud sticks.
Sure wish it would warm up around here!!!!

hmm.. think maybe I won't set mine out this summer.. dang bushy tail rats!!!!!
I need to get some good pics of mine.. they are getting to be big..
Pinch the tip at about 18 inches right??? if so I will be pinching soon.. if not should have last week.. LOL I just about can't see out my window with the Avocados and the guava getting so big..
Since the rain is keeping me inside.. the tropical plant room * laundry room* was cleaned out yesterday and looks nice to take pics...
now if the cloud cover would clear up enough to give me good lighting.. lol
Not sure which one is Audrey now.. I need to figure it out and put her name on a tag for her..
