You are right, it's better then just cutting them down.
But I have seen beautiful olive tree orchards in Spain and it's just a shame to destroy this... Sad

yes, it is a shame !!!

but believe me, this idiots would have cut it down .. plant new sorts with more crop or bigger fruits ...

they just have no respect for plants .. they treat them like stones and not like a living being like us ...
