I've found another way to kill the Citrus Leaf Miner--if you have the time.
You need a 10X magnifying visor and a needle. Inspect the leaves carefully, especially any miner trails. Look for the larvae near the end of trails-- the size of the larvae will increase with the legnth of trail. Use the needle to scratch out any larvae that you see (pale yellow worms). Scratch the ends of new trails even if you do not see the larvae as they are difficult to see when they are small. Look also for pupae where the leaves are folded or rolled.
I used a 10X visor and bodkin from my fly tying bench and killed dozens of them this morning. It at least gives you the satisfaction of seeing the little buggers squashed!
