I have been looking for a parafilm alternative, because I cannot find it locally. I have read that Glad Cling is a close alternative and Teflon pipe tape could also work.

I think teflon tape would be better than cling wrap. Buddinman has used strips of bread bags & they worked LOL, but he's a pro. He was helping graft citrus in South America & had no access to graft tape.

Buddy tape can be obtained from A M Leonard Piqua Ohio. For general grafting it is much better than parafilm. It is about $17.00 a roll plus shipping and handling. For t-budding I use chip budding tape, for grafting I use general purpose budding and grafting tape. All of these can be obtained from Womack nursery co, DeLeon TX or A M Leonard Co. Also Frostproof.com has a lot of these supplies.
