hey all I just found out last night. How unsafe My Job really is .
as the Night Ranger at the thousand Trails Park here in Town (Florence)
i got a call while on rounds to come back to the Ranger station.

So i came back to book in the Client as Normal i greeted them with total respect.. the Lady handed me a piece of paper with a bunch of numbers that is not worth anything to do with booking so i asked for id and or a TT card.. Getting yelled at doesnt bother me im immune to it but Having a Drunk go threw those Gates with at least 100 Kids on the other side does Bother me ..
Since my Job is security I feel i should not have to let Drunk Drivers in .
well i called the Back up Person also Drunk I called manage ment they said Just let them in and worry about it tomarrow...

Can you believe it >> Worry about it tomarrow ?
I worry about it on a daily Basis...well after that i was still being Bitched at and then desided to just ask her to park her truck onto a area thats not inside the park and book her ( a little afraid to ask for her Payment of 538.96) since the id and her thousand trails card had gotten me slapped..
Again i desided to ask any way well Boy did that not go over good no back up and no help.

I gave her her key a map and never did open the Gate..
the trailer behind her was a women with 5 little Kids .. a 9 yr old as the oldest who had the 35 ft trailer booked for the week and was placed next to them . came up and said you ok i was afraid to get out .. I said yes asked for her Card and took payment got them there trailer and opened the far gate.. with the Drunk at the close gate still yelling at me .

so i gave 2 week Notice but was told that its not a normal happening..
On a day to day Basis .. i get drunks at my gate Im alone from 4 pm to midnight . No one to call from the live on camp Workers even the Assistant manager is live on . doesnt want calls after he turns Off his radeo.. thats at 5 pm

what to do about the drinking drivers well according to them .. Let them threw the gate .
According to my conscience leave them there until there sober enough to open it themselfs.
there are alot of kids on park and i dont want to have to pick one off the road . so i gave 2 weeks i Dont want to even go in today..
if im unsafe with being assulted .. what about the jail just 2 blocks down the road with the Rapists ? as i said im the night ranger we are low on staff and there is no one to call im Not allowed my gun, my mace or even any kind of protection this star on my shirt is supposed to be the protection i need .. all its done for me is cut me in line at the DMV yesterday when i got a replacement Drivers Lisence .. those people seen my badge and scrammed LOL ..Tammy

THAT IS TOTALLY WRONG OF YOUR FORMER COMPANY TAMMY, GLAD YOU QUIT! THERE ARE ENOUGH DRUNKS OUT THERE DRIVING AND NOTHING HAPPENING TO THEM, WITHOUT SOMEPLACE PUTTING THEIR HEAD IN THE SAND WHEN THE ISSUE IS RIGHT THERE BEFORE THEM. I WOULD HAVE OFFERED TO CALL 911 TO COME AND HELP THEM! HOPE YOU FIND SOMETHING NEW SOON!

OK guess what ..
I got attacked last night filed a Complain the guy who helped me called manager ..
Today i go in manager asked if i knew the guys Name . I said NO because i didnt he was a guest and i was too shaken up well they fired me erased the complaint ...


I got home kinda upset my Bangle in labor. so it was good to be here . went to wash my uniforms and found guess what ? the guy who saved me's phone number ..Evil Grins who wants to come Visit my park ? Tammy

OOPS forgot i maced him and the managers are pissed.. LOL
