Anybody growing in the ground a pineapple orange in or near 8b?

I was thinking MINNEOLA TANGELO but am worried about the harvest date.

Pineapple is perhaps the least cold-hardy of all the true sweet oranges, and it matures with or after 'Minneola'. 'Minneola', on the other hand, is fairly cold-hardy.
